A 65 year old woman presents with dyspnea, and chest pain. Stress test was performed for further evaluation.

Breast Carcinoma found on SPECT
Imaging Findings
Stress and rest SPECT images demonstrate normal myocardial perfusion. Hopefully you noticed the focal area of increased uptake within the right breast on cine images. SPECT/CT images are provided below.
Essential Facts
Sestamibi is the same agent currently being used for scintimammography, which is an imaging technique aimed at differentiating breast cancer from glandular tissue
Breast cancer is the #1 cancer in women
Pay attention to areas of extra-cardiac activity within the breast. If seen, the patient needs a mammogram.
